New beginnings (delayed due to staff shortage)

I only posted yesterday so I will make this short. I am writing an addendum.

As it turns out I do have a reason not to run today, I do have a reason not to start my diet.

I can't get off the sofa. Today, I have found myself bribing my kids to do what's needed. They really should pull their finger out anyway!

I have taken some advice and got the older two to agree to share the cooking. They can pick what we eat, if they cook it!

Me? I feel like I am back on day one of my journey and having to start again again.

My dream of who I want to be has not changed. My dream of where I want to be has not changed. My path to getting there has. Wax on, wax off eh?

I am wallowing today. And doggo feels it too.

I'm hoping to start my journey anew tomorrow. Until then, my new beginning is delayed due to staff shortages.
